WHAT I DO

I am a highly-experienced solo attorney specializing in corporate law
primarily in the telecommunications and technology industries. I have over
2 5 years' experience in these industries working with public and private
companies, non-profits and individuals. The types of representation I
typically provide are:

Transactional support - I provide counsel and assistance in all
aspects of transactional practice including inter-carrier agreements,
equipment financing, network interconnection, reciprocal
compensation agreements, and IRU or lease projects, among others.
Wireless/mobile marketing & transactional support - I have extensive
experience in this new and growing field, and have assisted
multinational and domestic clients in short code marketing, traffic
aggregation, order fulfillment, carrier negotiations, end-user
licensing, etc.
Regulatory assistance & advocacy - I assist in both licensure and
compliance, participating in rule making proceedings, and
responding to regulator queries before the Federal Communications
Commission, state utility commissions and foreign regulatory bodies.
Taxation - I provide counsel and compliance assistance at all
jurisdictional levels, domestic and off-shore.
Intellectual property - I assist clients in preparation, filing and
supporting trademark and copyright applications and renewals,
negotiating licenses and litigating IP issues.
Finance - for both start-ups to established enterprises I assist in
preparing for, negotiating and securing project-based, asset-backed
and general corporate financing.
Commercial real estate - I represent both landlords and tenants in all
aspects of commercial real estate rentals and sales as well as build-
outs of offices, collocation spaces and retail.

WHOM I REPRESENT

My clients include domestic and foreign telecommunications companies,
undersea cable owners and operators, private equity funds and other
investors, ISPs, marketing companies, publishers, medical information
publishers, real estate investors, and patent, copyright and trademark
owners.

I also represent organizations and individuals in their dealings with both
telecommunications and technology companies and regulators.
